Theodore Petropoulos has been interested in technical and mathematical solutions since he was young. He initially decided to apply this interest to the engineering field, which he studied during his time at Imperial College London. Theo graduated with the Eric Laithwaite Prize for Innovation and with a new sense of purpose: he wanted to apply his diagnostic skills to finance.

Theo took a position at JPMorgan, focusing on credit and rates products. He also kept a keen eye on Greece and Cyprus and eventually began coverage of the two markets. This initiative expanded JPMorgan's outreach and eventually Theo's own outreach as he was asked to move to Greece full-time and work at Eurobank EFG. Following this, he attended INSEAD and earned his MBA, took a year to explore online business projects, and finally joined BlackRock's European Fixed Income team.

A trusted finance professional across the board, Theo credits much of his knowledge to his interest in international politics and economics, particularly in Greece. Theo loves learning about his Greek heritage and about the country's past and present.
