Theofanis Philippou

Cypriot Lawyer and Entrepreneur Theofanis Philippou initiated his profession in Law in 1996, eventually ascending his career into becoming a partner in one of the biggest pan-Cyprian law firms.

Born in Nicosia Cyprus, on 17th February 1972, Theofanis Philippou has graduated Laniteio Lyceum B’ in 1989 and then successfully serviced his 2-year military duties in Special Forces as a Sergeant Major.

In 1991 he joined the University of Sheffield in England, where he initiated his journey down the path of Justice by enrolling for his Bachelor of Laws (LLB), which he successfully acquired with Honors. Succeeding his LLB in 1994 he ambitiously continued with his studies in Sheffield Hallam University (UK), expanding his knowledge span by completing his Masters in Property Valuation & Management a year later.

Returning to his homeland, as a young graduate in 1995, he pursued his career as a Lawyer by completing his Bar at Law, in Cyprus, enabling him for courtroom advocacy and litigation by officially being a barrister-at-law in 1996.

Only 3 years later his professional career had initiated, he decides to create his own Law firm – Lemis Philippou & Associates – a company created in 1999 where he served and represented as a partner. In 2001, Theofanis elevated his firm by aspiringly achieving a major and successful merge with Nikos Anastasiades Law Firm creating Nikos Chr. Anastasiades & Partners LLC where he has serving the Law ever since as a partner.

His unceasing entrepreneurial ambitions stimulated him to create a Private Jet Charters & Management company, Air Elite Aviation. Founded in 2011 the company had successfully operated on managing private jet charters’ bookings for 5 years. Being an active and aspiring member of the local society, in 2013 he was assigned the role of the Honoured Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Cyprus, serving his duties until present.

Theofanis Philippou expanded his entrepreneurial efforts further in 2014 when he co-founded and initiated as a shareholder, FLC Modena Automobile Ltd, a company serving as the official importer and distributor of Maserati S.p.A in Cyprus.
