Origin Gallery
Dr Noelle Campbell Sharp, Founder of the Cill Rialaig Project which has restored a pre famine village in Co. Kerry and hosted more than 3,500 artists from Ireland and around the world is the director of Origin Gallery 37 Upper Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin.
The gallery has a reputation for both Irish and International artists who are either well established or emerging.
The gallery itself is a fine example of Georgian architecture with elegant rooms featuring beautiful ceiling plasterwork which has been restored. It is located in what is called the posh part of town near Merrion Square gardens, only a short 8 minute walk from Stephens Green and the Shelbourne Hotel.
The Gallery last year created an ART TRAIL to some of Dublin’s top hotels, many of whom now feature significant paintings which they purchased from Origin Gallery. There have been many celebrity openers of exhibitions including Mick Jagger, Gerry Hall, Gerard Matisse grandson of Henri Matisse, and Prime Ministers, Ministers, TDs, actors, film stars and musicians.
