Ryan Turner

My name is Ryan Turner, I reside in Orange County, California, where I am growing my music and design/digital art careers. I have been producing music since 2010 (bass music since 2012), and started DJing in 2013 (my alias is PROJEKT61). While my main focus is in the music industry right now, I wanted to explore other creative endeavors to expand my skill repertoire, and as such I have been taking up digital art & design on a part-time basis. I can attest that doing start up is time consuming and repetitive on many days, however in the process you also find out about your strength and hidden abilities that you never thought you had. You only love the things you do, if you are passionate about it, and I can say that I love creating things whether it is digital art, music, or anything else I want to do.

While most of my time is spent producing and creating creative work, I do have hobbies outside of music and art/design. Whenever I have time, I volunteer for world’s biggest PC brand as a Lenovo brand ambassador (Lenovo Insider/#LenovoIN). In this role I spread my love for the brand, through sharing of social media contents relating to the brand, or spreading my knowledge about the brand through artistic works (i.e. music) or written contents (i.e. blog). I think the use of both written and non-written digital media has helped me to engage more audiences toward the Lenovo brand since 2005, when Lenovo acquired IBM’s PC division. I also work with other Lenovo brand ambassadors and contribute to their advocacy venture, one of which is ThinkScopes.com, where I regularly contribute as a product reviewer.

As an artist and a budding entrepreneur, I want to merge my artistic works with business in the near future.

Finally, I'm a devoted Primal/Paleo enthusiast, as well as a motocross/action sports, weightlifting, nature, ThinkPad, and science lover, with a diverse range of interests. In addition, I occasionally do YouTube - I upload my music and other music-related stuff on my music channel and I comment on various things, vlog about my life, and post other stuff on my personal channel (on a part-time basis) - and I give my opinion about various things and write about my whereabouts on my Wordpress blog on occasion.
