I started in modular buildings about 40 years ago. A company called Wyseplan,part of P&O Bovis, the shipping and building company purchased a factory dedicated to manufacturing modular and portable buildings, I was the first salesman to join the company. We started supplying all types of areas of business. Local authorities with classrooms, hospitals with clinics and wards, commercial office complexes and much more. I progressed my position with various major modular and portable building manufacturers culminating in a position at Director level at a company called Servaccomm. I was also a director of the Modular and Portable Building Association. I decided to start from scratch again with my own business Associated Systems and The Portable Building Shop. Only this time as well as new build I am also supplying refurbished second user buildings.
