POW! is the name, hip hop is the game.

6 members, Vicio, John-Joe, JustJayyJoint, Herbs, Shorty, and Ed. (22-19 yrs of age)

Started in Brownsville, Texas (deep south)Currently in Austin, Texas (live music capitol)

Some raised in Houston or California, ended up in Brownsville.

The group started making music in high school around the end of 2010 when they joined (T.V.K.) The Valley Kings Productions.

POW! is not a collection of randoms. The group is made of brothers, thicker than blood relation. We started as middle school friends and always had a strong love for hip hop. High school was really a bother when our mind was set on a higher level. We already had plans on making music. Therefore school took up a lot of time and hustling was our only way of getting some shine. Once we got in the studio we lived and learned new things. With 3 demos and one solo demo I say we are taking things steady.

We enjoy other things besides making music. Some days in our small town we bust a mission, like go on road trips for music festivals, or even go to a party thats out of town. That's right, we kick it in the mix everywhere. Well can't forget, we love them rager girls. Especially those who roll up. If you can roll a bleezy you get points.

POW! is above the hypebeasts and hipsters.. That's all for the trend-followers, and we keep it classic. We love creative humans, just not robots and clones. Our style is very different from each other we all have a brand we stick with. Low-key status though.

The meaning behind our music ... Most of the songs we make are messages to the people. We are trying to open peoples eyes, not preaching. The fact that most youngsters find the hip hop on the radio entertaining is what made us realize they haven't heard real hip hop so we are going to change that. We lead by example not by dissing.
