D’Cipher would be placed under the genre that speaks out to the exuberant. The dedicated, the majestic, the diligent, the animated, the backpackers, hip hop heads, partiers, rockers, the smokers, really just the people that love life, all around the world. Born in LA and raised by musician parents, D’Cipher was exposed to a wide spectrum of music at an early age. At only 13, he began DJing with his father, until he passed away in 2003. Always feeling a calling to music, he began to explore what else art had to offer. While writing and producing in high school, he was repeatedly told he had a knack for lyrics. He wrote what related to everyone of every background. He wanted music anybody could enjoy. He found inspiration in every genre he explored. With superior attention to detail and unbreakable work ethic, he is ready to leave his mark on the music industry. His travels are a keystone to his music. He has spanned the globe, absorbing musical preferences across the world, ultimately recognizing that music can appeal to everybody. Regardless of race, nationality, religion, music is universal. And he recognizes the potential. In 2011, D’Cipher has hit the ground running by recording and writing daily, releasing his debut video “Wildcat,” performing, and recording his upcoming mixtape (“Perception”) and album("Red Eye"). He lives by simple words from Aristotle’s brilliant mind: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” Art is continually evolving, and D’Cipher has made a habit to perfect his craft and evolve as an artist in order to move forward. “All or nothing. Either fall for anything or stand for something.” In today’s world, you need more. “I’m a guitarist” is obsolete. Producers are musicians are lyricists; D’Cipher offers it all. An ear that’s directed, He has done sound-engineering everywhere from grand concert halls in Japan to airplane hangars in Holland. His ears have heard enough to produce something unlike anything ever before.
