After spending his formative years working at George Lucas’s premiere visual effects facility Industrial Light and Magic where he worked on such films as Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and The Green Mile, David left to produce the visual effects for acclaimed Chinese director Zhang Yimou’s modern wuxia classic Hero.

Recognizing early on that the democratizing of technology was inevitable David has focused his attention on telling stories across multiple platforms in which the film watching experience is part of an overriding story arc, not simply the culmination.

When not working, David enjoys reading, Belvedere martinis and is a Doctor Who fanboy. He does anything his dog Rocky, wants him to.
