My name is Theresa Borawski. I live in Lake, Michigan. I work as a Retention Advisor at Mid Michigan Community College. My job is to help college students to overcome barriers, both internal such as academic or financial aid difficulties, and external such as economic, physical, and personal struggles that hinders their success. I take college courese myself for personal interest and to remind me what it is like to balance work, family, and school responsibilities.
I am on a personal journey to improve my health and well-being and have lost 275 pounds without surgery or diet pills. I am a miracle and have been sharing my story with others via speaking engagements, TV and press interviews, a website, and a Facebook group called: We Can Change Our Lives.
My life is very busy, but i stil find time to garden, swim, ride my bike, fish, and enjoy the great outdoors.
