Theresa Hunt

My name is Theresa and I am currently working as an educator in Winnipeg. I began my career as a French teacher, hoping to inspire my students to love learning a new language as much as I did.

Outside of work I love to read, bake, watch baseball and spend time with my family. I have three grown sons, two of whom are still in University. They have helped me navigate the technology needed for my first on-line course.

I have had the experience of living in a new country, for a short two years. I lived in Heidelberg, Germany and taught at a Canadian school for the children of Canadian Armed Forces members. I met some wonderful people there, including my husband! I was fortunate to be able to travel throughout Europe and to enjoy all it had to offer.

As I look towards transitioning into a new teaching path, I plan to work with New Canadians, helping them as they navigate a new language and a new country. I look forward to hearing what has brought my colleagues on their learning journey.
