Theresa Liao

I work full time as a Communications Coordinator (outreach, grant writing, event planning, website, and probably more that I cannot recall at the moment) at the Department of Physics & Astronomy, University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada). Before that, I studied biochemistry for undergrad, and went on to get my MSc in experimental medicine.

I know, it is weird that I ended up working for physics and astronomy, but that only made me more curious about pretty much all areas of science.

Reading and writing about science is my passion. I believe that everyone should have access to an understanding of science regardless of social status.
