Theresa Polachek

I could spend hours in the library. The written word has always held great power for me, and I have built a career on carefully chosen verbs, adjectives and metaphors. From city profiles as a newspaper stringer to acquisition announcements, web copy, and technical articles, I have had the opportunity to develop a diverse set of writing skills. This has served me well as I branched out into public relations, corporate communications, customer visits and corporate events. And more importantly, I've learned how to work with with diverse personalities, because the written word (especially when it's about you!) is very personal. When you write, the best thing to do I've learned, is to be honest and concise. This has influenced my leadership style and the teams I build. As my story has unfolded, I've taken copious notes, found new editors and drafted and redrafted chapters. I've refined my character by learning from others and look forward to the plot twists ahead. When will my story intertwine with yours?
