Derived by combining thermal and renaissance, Thermaissance is reinventing the healthcare textiles.

Thermaissance was designed after our founder, Manish Raval, watched his dad routinely sit through dialysis and chemo treatment being cold and uncomfortable. At that time, Manish was working with Siemens North America on futuristic imaging and other devices. He realized that a very important part in patient experience and patient care is their clothing, since it is worn throughout the treatment. He therefore left his high-paying job at Siemens and started researching on smart fabrics and anti-bacterial fabrics. After years of research, Thermaissance was finally born and has been improving doctor’s and patient’s experience.

Thermaissance was awarded as 'Top 50 Innovative Healthcare Companies' in 2019 and was one of the winners of Economic Times Power of Ideas in 2016 (out of 18000+ ideas). The innovation has been recognized by Government of India under its Startup India Program (DIPP #18652) and by AGNIi– Accelerating Growth of New India’s Innovations – a programme of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, and a Mission under the Prime Minister's Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC)
