Michelle: Born and raised in the 'Nickel Capital' of Canada. She accidentally-on-purpose found herself living in the UK longer than anticipated. On one particular holiday she had too many beers and accepted the marriage proposal of a very handsome football and cycling fanatic. (She can't ride a bike!) She can be a bit of a geek and enjoys learning about the history of places she travels to. She loves comics, live music, beer, watersports, dancing, rambling (physically and verbally, but mostly verbally). She also loves a bit of romance (yawn!).

Richard: Born and raised in a village in the UK. He found himself in the right bar on the right night (thanks to his mate Mike) and that's where he found the absolute love of his life! Richard trained as a journalist after graduating in English Literature. He is sports-obssessed. He's not too fussed about museums and history, he doesn't have sea-legs and he doesn't much care for dancing (much to Michelle's dismay). But he can be very romantic (when coerced).
