The Rover App

Launched under the name Flipora back in 2008, the taste-making app is now called Rover. Rover is a learning, changing app that shows users material they will be interested in, curated from all over the web.

In the newly redesigned app, users can pick from more than 15,000 topics that Rover recognizes as a base from which to build their custom feed. While browsing, users can indicate which content they like and would like to see more of in their feed. Rover is smart, and it learns with the user.

In its new form, the Rover app offers a completely redesigned interface. It features a minimalist style, making it easy to discover and share. The app now offers a customized profile page, which allows users to get a taste of each other’s interests.

Moving forward, the developers behind Rover have plans to unveil even more advanced A.I. algorithms as well as new ways to share and react to content. Rover is also seeking out experts and trendsetters of all kinds and would love to hear from tastemakers who wish to contribute.
