Sam Smith

BACKGROUND

I am an accounting student in the United States and am very dedicated to expanding my skill set. With a passion for leadership and finance, I can see myself in a corporate setting in the next five years. Also, I am a committed member on any team, meaning I will always follow through on an assignment on which I am working.

GOALS

Through my education, I hope to become fluent in accounting, the language of business. In the long-term, I hope for the opportunity to manage an effective team or start my own business in the absence of such an opportunity within an existing organization.

SKILLS

Beyond my interests in finance, I am also well versed in current events, especially those concerned with the international political climate. I can synthesize articles and quickly ascertain the main idea of documents. I am also savvy in negotiating and communicating with peers as well as clients. These skills have been harnessed through my experience in debate clubs (insert link) throughout my educational career and my relevant work experience at XYZ Company (insert link).
