When I reflected on most of my artistic expressions, I find one common theme. They were created to empower, to encourage, to support, and inspire someone in a very intimate way. Since I am gifted in various ways, I generally feel a responsibility to create or share my work as a service to others, not necessarily always in the form of monetary compensation. There is some sort of fulfillment that comes from making someone smile, feel important or comforted, in this life that can be increasingly stressful.

After a conversation with one of my good friends, I was encouraged to create a blog to showcase the random acts of artistic expression in my life.
