'Seun DAODU
Sustainability Practitioner, Quantity Surveyor, and Governance / Leadership Enthusiast in Nigeria
BRIEF PROFILE OF THE SEUN DAODU
Welcome! I’m Seun Daodu, widely known as The Seun Daodu – a Visionary Leader, Quantity Surveyor (in training), and multipotentialite passionate about environmental sustainability, governance, policy, and youth development. I hold a B.Tech in Quantity Surveying and co-founded Gradatim, an NGO focused on education, civic awareness, and youth inclusion in Good Governance.
I currently work as a Quantity Surveyor with the Development Department of Paul Osaji & Co., a leading Estate Surveyors and Property Valuers firm in Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to this, I served as a Business Developer at DotCircle Labs and completed a graduate internship at Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), where I also functioned as PA to the Deputy Director at LAWMA Academy. Earlier in my journey, I contributed to Landfill Operations Policy while working with LAWMA’s Research and Policy Development Department.
Beyond my professional work, I serve as the Male Youth Representative for the Youth Wing of the Green Building Council Nigeria (GBCN), where I am also a Youth Member of the Council. I had previously served as the State Coordinator for ElomGreenie Environmental Conservation Foundation in Ondo State and co-convened the 2023 and 2024 World Cleanup Days in Akure.
My civic and governance involvement extends to my role as a Long-Term Election Monitor with Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI). I have led campus outreach projects such as DemTalks and Naija Elections (an AI civic-tech platform) at FUTA and RUGIPOLY. In April 2024, I presented policy recommendations to the National Assembly Joint Committee on Electoral Matters, advocating for Voting Rights & Inclusivity, Voter Registration, and INEC reforms.
During my undergraduate years at FUTA, I served as Director of Finance & Administration for the Class of 2023, where I spearheaded the Graduating Class Summit themed “What’s Next?”. I was also a Legislator in the FUTASRC and served as the Southwest Electoral Representative for NAQSS National.
I have contributed to Ondo State’s Plastic Menace Summit, participated in the Ondo State Renewable Energy Roadmap organized by Clean Tech Hub, and was honored to be selected as a Younga 2023 Delegate, where I actively contribute to the Peace and Justice Working Group.
My interests span sustainability, systems thinking, leadership, policy, problem-solving, and lifelong learning. Outside of work, I enjoy brainstorming, learning at Corporate Conferences/Workshops, playing board games, and listening to music.
I’m always open to impactful connections, networks, and collaborations that drive growth and meaningful change.
