When the Siding Doctor was established in 1989, they were called the Energy Doctor. At this time, they were entirely focused on creating energy efficient improvements for homeowners in the greater Atlanta area. Some of these jobs would be replacing doors, windows, roofs, and siding in order to eliminate drafts and improve insulation.
When the economy crash, so did the energy efficiency industry but siding was still a prominent aspect for homeowners. In 2003, a customer thought Jeff Shea ought to call himself "The Siding Doctor," and a new name was born.
The Siding Doctor has completed over 10,000 home projects since 1989. Today while The Siding Doctor specializing in siding, they also handle windows and doors.
