My name is Sifon Bassey, or SB like my people like to call me. A young man from Ikono LGA, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. I am the progenitor of the #NewEra Movement.

I am a currently a 300 level Computer Science undergrad, from the Faculty of science. I love tech (tech is the future, and also tech bros make a lot of money. You gerrit).

I’m an avid lover of service, that is one of my love languages sha, and also giving gifts too. If I love you, I must either give you a gift, either in kind or in services. (it’s not the “kind” you are thinking oh).

Back to service, I believe politics and leadership is one of the ways to serve people, and I have always pursued this route since my first year in Tuskers Republic. I have served my faculty in the position of the 018 stakeholders chairman, till I left the post to serve my faculty as a Senator, in the current SUG senate. Currently I am the Chairman, Senate committee on ICT and we are working to make sure we make the Wifi and other ICT infrastructure on campus better, so you can download your resources, read books online, surf the net, connect with friends on social media and watch YouTube.

I have a lot of hobbies: I love cooking. I can make a whole lot of our local and international cuisines. If you doubt me, let’s have a cooking competition. I also love swimming, traveling, listening to music, writing and reading books. I love watching comedy videos and shows on YouTube.

I absolutely love watching football. CHELSEA IS THE BEST CLUB IN THE WORLD. If you want to argue, I don’t have time to argue. Go and argue with your mirror. My best player is Kante.

For my music taste, I love listening to Hip Hop and Afrobeats. My best rappers are Jay Z, Kanye West, Drake, and MI Abaga. I also love Wizkid and Davido. Please don’t ask me who is better, I love them both. They are my guys. I also love listening to Jazz and classical music.

I don’t like lies or people that lie about people. I also dislike dirtiness, craftiness and people who sly others. Better be straight with me. Don’t be going through the corners mbok.

I am a very calm person, (I don’t like vawulence) sometimes I can be shy and I am very friendly person. I love making jokes and laughing too. I no like to dey squeeze face. If you too dey squeeze face, you go quick old.

I love making friends, hanging out with people with good vibes and just catching positive vibes.
