Hey! My name is Riona Pal, and ever since I can remember, I’ve always dreamed of having a cat. I honestly don't know where my strong love for cats grew from, as nobody in my family are big cat people, but I have felt such a strong bond with these animals. My mom is scared of every animal to ever exist, so having a cat was always totally out of the question. And to fill my void, I have volunteered at cat shelters, been to cat cafes, and played with my friend's cat (which is actually the cat in this picture). I've even gone to Pet Smart just to look at animals, mainly cats, which is a little sad LOL. I am planning on getting a cat hopefully next year when I'm living in an apartment.

My experience working in a cat shelter has been so great. I love working and playing with rescue cats that probably didn't have the life they deserved. I think animals in general should be given the same opportunity at a happy life just as a lot of us are. They are still living beings at the end of the day and deserve the respect and love humans have.
