Meals represent a significant routine for a dog that can create stress, both physical and psychological, if altered. The Spot Experience believes that overnight guests should eat the same meals they get at home, to minimize the potential for digestive disturbances. Boarders staying the night are also fed separate from each other to ensure a non-threatening environment at this crucial event of their day. In addition, unlike what happens at some doggy daycare facilities, the dogs at The Spot Experience always have access to cool and fresh water. Human clients can get a visual fix on their four-legged companion from afar via webcam. Password access means only folks who actually have furry friends staying at The Spot Experience can see them via the company’s version of a “nanny cam.” In the unlikely event of a mishap, The Spot Experience has an on-call mobile veterinarian and maintains ties to 24-hour emergency specialists.
