Technical Solutions Analyst in New York, NY

Hello! I'm a recent graduate from Boston College's Carroll School of Management where I concentrated in Information Systems and Marketing. I currently live in New York where I'm a first year analyst at BlackRock Solutions. On the day-to-day I work with a multitude of clients supporting them in our investment management software as well as learning more about the retail software realm.

In school, I was Chair of BC's largest entrepreneurship center, Start@Shea, a mentor for the Shaw Leadership Program, and a Teaching Assistant for the Information Systems department as well as BC's business ethics course, Portico. Additionally, in my last year, I was presented with an incredible opportunity (SoULS) to provide affordable energy as well as empower the local female community in various parts of India.

In the long term, I aspire to work in the fashion industry by starting my own sustainable fashion company. I've worked as a Fashion Studio Assistant/Business Analyst at an e-commerce startup called Shoptiques in 2016 and was a TEC Fellow at True Ventures the summer of 2017. As a fellow, I interned at npm, Inc. in the Marketing department where I was able to design my own research protocol for reaching enterprise customers and pursued my own project of developing their content library page.

On a more casual note, I have a newfound interest in material sciences and have been researching the lifecycle of different fabrics in hopes of finding a more efficient way for us to recycle clothing. I also enjoy art-ing, dancing, and reaching out to eat-ing places to use eco-friendly straws.

I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas but aspire to end up somewhere on the West Coast.

If you're in the city, feel free to reach out! I'd love to grab coffee and connect.
