As Gin lovers, we came up with the idea of offering Cologne something that was missing so far. Something simple, but daring: a gin bar! No whiskey, no vodka, no rum ... just gin.

At The Bear, we believe a bar is not just a place to turn off after a long day. It is a place where you go on a journey, far away and yet with the comforting warmth of being at home.

Our living room atmosphere is something special, which creates endless possibilities guided by positive vibes.

Gin tastes better when you feel good. We do not want to host a fashion event in The Bear and our guests do not have to be as "hot-right-now" as Hansel or fly in with a bow tie and monocle to enjoy our "The Bear" atmosphere. Our bartenders do not wear mustaches or suspenders and still serve great gin & tonics or signature gin cocktails with an extra "home" portion.
