The Upperroom Bible Church

Led by Dr. Herbert H. Rowe and his wife Dr. Carol G. Rowe, The Upperroom Bible Church serves the people of the New Orleans, Louisiana community by providing opportunities for worship and ministry. The congregation members of The Upperroom Bible Church meet weekly at services on both the north and south shore and participate in a variety of charitable activities.

The church got its start in an office building, in a space with a simple worship setup and room for only a small congregation. When more and more people discovered and joined the faith community, the Rowes made the decision to find a larger location. They relocated into a new home for the congregation, which has over thirty thousand square feet of space for services and education. Later on, they founded a second branch in Slidell.

The faith community is active with a number of local community organizations, such as Second Harvest Food Bank. Through this well-established partnership, the church donates food to more than 3,000 individuals in need each month.
