Clive Craigen

First and foremost, I am a follower of Jesus. I am married to Randi Craigen (22 plus years) and have four kids. Claire is 17 and a senior at Jones College Prep and Emma is 15 and a sophomore at Chiarts. Zeb is 9 and in 4th grade and Trinity is 8 and in 2nd grade. We live on the south side of Chicago in the Chatham neighborhood. I teach urban ministry at Moody Bible Institute and I love the city, the nations and the church. I was born in South Africa and lived there until I was 7 when our family moved to Warsaw IN so my dad could study at Grace Seminary. During high school our family moved to Europe to be missionaries and my sister and I attended Black Forest Academy where I graduated. I returned to the US for college at Grace College, IN where I studied biblical studies and history. After graduation, my wife and I moved to Chicago to work on staff at Inner City Impact, a time which lasted 10 years. During our time there, we worked with inner city youth and young adults. Upon leaving ICI, we entered into churchplanting engaged in an organic/house church endeavor. During the summer of 2006 I joined the faculty of Moody Bible Institute where I teach urban ministry and an introduction class on disciplemaking. I love Chicago, the cities of the world and the ethne (peoples) who inhabit them. I have been involved in everything from youth ministry, ESL, church planting, prison work, etc. I love to read and I love sports.
