The Windy City Pup

In December 2013, I picked up my 6 week old black lab puppy (Bubba) in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Driving three hours back to Chicago, I was so happy to have this little guy in my life, that I never even thought about how crazy I was to get a puppy in the middle of the winter! The next few months were interesting to say the least - potty training during the polar vortex and being outside in extreme temperatures more than I ever thought I would - but through it all I was introduced to a whole new city! I found tons of dog parks, met tons of other great dogs (and people of course!) and realized just how dog friendly Chicago really is!

While I was able to search and find some great places (parks, vets, beaches/pools, etc.) and stumble upon others, I would have loved a website with more info on all things pup-related in Chicago, so that's my mission with this blog! Hope you find my reviews & info helpful!
