X. D. is a blogger, social commentator, and digital content creator from New York City by way of the San Francisco Bay Area. He writes and vlogs about the everyday musings of what it is to be a Black male in a large city at TheXDExperience.com and BlackGay30.com X. D. takes his social commentary to his podcast “2 Guys And A Girl” on iTunes. He’s also been featured on TheRoot.com, Mused Magazine and panels such as the infamous BasseyWorldLive founded by Def Poet, Bassey Ikpi.
On the business front, X. D. has owns his own Digital Creative Services agency under The X. D. Experience umbrella and represents some of the leading entities on the web. To mention a select few, X. D. represents famed DJ and musician, DJ Fatha Julz whose talents can be found in the Logo feature film Leave It On The Floor, produced and directed by Beyonce’s Creative Director, Kim Burse. X. D. also sat as the social media manager for Brooklyn Council Woman, now Public Advocate, Leticia James where he managed her social media properties and increased her web presence exponentially. X. D. also represented notable filmmaker Patrik-Ian Polk (creator of Punks, Noah’s Arc and The Skinny) and sat as the Director of Marketing for Polk’s film house Tall Skinny Black Boy Productions. He recently sat as producer of the My True Colors Art & Film Festival featured in New York City. X. D. also presented at TEDxPSU as a featured speaker for the 2015 Push To Start Conference at Penn State University.
