Hue Thich Tri

Venerable Thich Tri Hue, whose given name is Tran Minh A, was born on March 25th, 1971, and is from Ca Mau province. Like many others, after graduating with a degree in Construction Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, i would have sought a suitable job, started a family, and taken care of my parents. However, due to my strong affinity for Buddhism, i chose the path of cultivation and continued my studies at the Vietnam Buddhist Institute (Ho Chi Minh City).

Through constant effort and study, i have gained much trust and faith from fellow monks and Buddhist followers. Currently, i am a standing member of the Central Propagation Board and the abbot of Phap Tang Pagoda located at C3/8 Le Dinh Chi, Ap 3, Le Minh Xuan Commune, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Currently, I am a professional advisor in Buddhism, science and psychology for the LotusBuddhas Buddhist Foundation.
