i have a LOVE of all things HUMmingbird. it's a LONG story but HUMmingbirds hold a special place in my family's heart because of two wonderful people i call my grandfather and grandmother. my inspirations. two very dear people who left this world a little too soon and left a HUGE impact on all of our hearts. so of course, when naming my new business i HAD to have something HUMmingbird.

the name of my shop is thistle and hum: thistle for the beautiful plants that HUMmingbirds love to eat + HUM for my favorite little creatures, HUMmingbirds. my talented and wonderful friend Cat helped me come up with this name, and i love it.
