Well, where do I begin?

I was born a single, middle-class, white male. But how things have changed: I am now a single, UPPER-middle-class white male. Yay me!

OK, enough of the sarcasm. I was born in Portland, OR and raised by two caring parents. I was brought up with the expectation that I'd get a college degree, and sure enough I did so at Oregon State in 2002.

My parents loving relationship provided a shining example for me, but for whatever reason this has not yet manifested itself in my love life. I'm still dating, and yes even listening to dating advice from friends who think their experts. No offense guys, I know you're just trying to help :)

But let's talk about stuff I REALLY like to do. I'm a mountain guide on weekends, and naturally love hiking, fishing, and anything outdoors. During the week, well... let's not talk about work. After work, a mug of beer and a Blazers game makes me a pretty happy guy.

All that said, I'm truly excited about what the future holds, both for me personally as well as for my relationships with friends, family, and others that I care about.
