A day without taking a picture is wasted time. My best buddy, my Canon 5D Mark III, is almost always by my side. Photography is not only my passion, it’s my attitude to live and I’m curious about improving my photography skills constantly by practicing it in various situations. Blizzards, thunderstorms and sweltering heat can’t stop me from trying to catch the perfect snap-shot.
Studying Information and Communication Systems at the Technikum Wien is no contradiction to my passion, as it enables me to act out my general enthusiasm for technique. In addition to my regular courses I attend classes in creative photography, where I can practice even more and gain theoretical knowledge. Cameras are recently becoming more and more little computers which are able to take great pictures and by my studies I want to be capable of really controlling them in various ways.
Through my interests into architecture, travelling and dancing I’m especially concentrating on taking pictures in these fields. I have long been into architecture and I even took a break from IT to study it for one year, but then I realised that instead of designing them on my own, I prefer to catch the soul of buildings and retell their history in pictures. My several travels mostly through Europe provide me with beautiful and impressive motives for my pictures. Recently I backpacked in southern Europe and captured my favourite spots in Spain, France and Italy. By being a competitive dancer myself I am deeply into this area. As soon as I am not standing on the floor I take my Canon and catch the emotions and movements of the other dancers. Briefly speaking it’s my aim to provide the world with a million further pictures about the versatility of life and share my passion with as many people as possible.
