Thomas Tenney Hardy

Mr. Hardy moved to Vero Beach in December 2013 from Norwell, Massachusetts.

Arriving, he felt there was a need for more in depth news than provided locally.

In 2018 Mr. Hardy established the T. T. Online News Corp. news organization, as a non-profit, whose primary focus now is the Young Journalist Program founded by Mr. Hardy.

The mission of The Young Journalist is to nurture intellectual curiosity and instill a lifelong love of writing by mentoring third, fourth and fifth-grade students in the creation of their very own published bylines.

The program began in 2018 with six students at one elementary school and has grown, in 2023 to 14 elementary schools with 130 students.

Previously, prior to moving to Vero Beach, Hardy was the founder/co-founder of three technology companies in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania where he served roles as Founder/CEO and SVP Sales and Marketing.

He has been recognized for pioneering automated computer systems for print factory automation and was the Chairman of a Symposium at the Mellon Institute on "Digital Networked Production Systems."
