Thomas Hodgers

Tom Hodgers was born, raised and educated (initially) in Liverpool and the north of Manchester, England. In 1977, after working eight years in the Paint Industry he emigrated to Venezuela where he has lived since.

Tom is a retired scientist, Licentiate in Chemical Engineering (L.R.I.C.). He studied for Post-graduate diplomas in Analytical Chemistry, Paint Technology, the Culture and Language of Japan, Certification as Bimodal Facilitator from CEUJAP and for On-line Teaching from the MiraCosta College, California.

He's an expert in Moodle 2.8 and also has certification in Moodle for Teachers M4TA, M4M and M4TA-T from IT4ALL, Expert in E-learning Processes and in Digital Media from FATLA.

He worked many years as a Manager/Technical Director in the Paint and Building Industry Products field and, from 2006, has designed and taught classes for F2F, blended learning and 100% on líne, using the PACIE method, through the Moodle and WizIQ LMS's.

Tom has Moderated and Facilitated many on-line massive courses, such as Moodle MOOT 14 and 15, ELT-Techniques, Moodle MOOC 3, 4 , 5 and 6, M4TEVO14 and 15, various Spring and Fall Blog Festivals, Second Life MOOC14 and 15, CO14 and 15, and Teachers Teaching Online.
