Michael Thomas

My name is Michael Thomas. I am a rising senior at Booker T Washington High School. For the past 8 years, I have attended Raising Expectations, a non-profit organization that has helped me develop academic, work, and leadership skills while preparing to go to college. I was also able to represent Raising Expectations and the Next-Gen ATL cohort at the Breadloaf conference. The people I have worked with through Raising Expectations, as well as my mother, motivate me to keep moving forward. They taught me never to give up and never to let my guard down, and they inspire me to be successful.

My interests include traveling, volunteering, and trying new things. After high school, I would like to attend a university in Georgia and major in mechanical engineering and hospitality. After college, I look forward to starting my own travel-related business.
