Thomas Poling

My name is Thomas Poling and I live in Trophy Club, Texas. Before moving to Texas I was a teacher and coach in the New Bedford Public Schools in Massachusetts. Every summer I would work camps put on by some of the top college coaches and pros. I was lucky enough to work at the only camp Larry Bird ever put on in the Boston area. I still have the Larry Bird basketball camp coach's shirt and shorts. As a high school coach I was blessed to be part of back to back State Championships teams which included games at the old Boston Garden.

In 1995 we moved to Dallas , Texas and our family grew to 3 kids 2 girls and one boy. All of our kids are active in athletics. I have been a coach on several teams for all the kids. I am still actively involved in coaching football, basketball and baseball for my son's teams. As a former high school coach I try to work on teaching fundamentals and life lessons. I still have a passion for coaching but do not want to miss any of my kids games because I have to coach a different team.

I am now ready to return to work full time, I will always bring with me the mentatlity of a coach in whatever field I return to.
