Thomas R. Jackson

I’m Tom Jackson. After five years of fulfilling work with youth in the community and school setting, I’m looking to transition to a career in higher education administration. My work as a high school teacher in the last three years has taught me what it means to be a role model and guide for an upcoming generation who often aren't aware of their own intelligence and gifts. I loved encouraging them to think for themselves and challenging them to envision a wider landscape for their lives.
When I'm not teaching or working as a campus minister, I can't keep my hands off a good book. I love knowledge and continue to learn by reading topics ranging from twentieth-century theology to philosophy to science fiction to poetry. I don't just keep it to reading, either! Give me a news or science podcast and I'm a happy man.
