Thomas Smith

My name is Thomas Smith, and above is a picture of me from my trip to Jackson Hole, WY this past summer. I spent that trip with my family, hiking, biking, and rafting in some of the most beautiful scenery. I’ve been there in the past when I was much younger and did all of the same things. The difference between the trips is that I had a much greater appreciation for it all the second time around. As a kid, the long hikes were boring and tiring, but now I found the breathtaking views so rewarding that it made the physical effort all worth it. The point of mentioning that is not to make myself seem like and outdoors person because I enjoy staying inside and watching movies and TV or playing video games as much as anybody else. The point is to demonstrate how much has changed over the years, and how aware I am of it. I think that says the most about me. I am at a point in my life, like many people my age, where I am finally beginning to see how much I’ve grown up. I’m in those transitional years where my childhood memories and attitude are still clear and present, but I am also looking forward and shaping my future.
