Thomas Weyres
Berlin
I am a Berlin based Graphic-Designer, focusing on the design of complex communication solutions – printed or hacked.
I got a diploma in Visual Communication from the University of applied Science of Münster, Germany in 2006. Since then I worked for MTV, SonyBMG, Ableton or DIE ZEIT and others directly, and for Daimler, Arte or Douglas via Zentrale Intelligenz Agentur, where I am, next to Philipp Albers, Martin Baaske and Holm Friebe, one of the managing directors.
Since march 2012 I am deeply into building the user experience of the social reading tool dotdotdot, which I co-founded and co-created with Thomas Schinabeck, Christian Klingler and Christian Beer. So if you're into reading, sign up here – it's free!
I am a dad of two daughters and I am married to wonderful Sibylle Jazra.
I support interesting projects by being a member of Awesome Foundation Berlin. Sometimes I do workshops for students.
I have exhibited in various institutions like La Panacee in Montpellier, Westfälischer Kunstverein or Kunstverein Cuxhaven.
And from time to time you can find me painting walls in and around Berlin.
