I run a small web, graphic design and marketing company called IAMTEEJAY since 2001.

A designer at heart, with a mind that yearns to understand how and why things come to exist, and the sense to preserve and allow for growth and prosperity.

I believe that, before something can be created for the first time or recreated again, the designer must have a general, if not a full understanding of its form and functionality. This belief, along with his enthusiasm for all things in the digital age, has pushed me to learn as much as I could during my thirty-five-plus years of exposure to the computer and its abilities, and twenty-plus years as a professional providing individuals and businesses with the tools to successfully market themselves on and off-line at an affordable cost.

Using these assessment skills of understanding, I apply them to the principals of project management. Trained as an architect, with experience managing large staffs at restaurants, supervising work crews at construction sites, and managing several media production companies, I recognized the importance of careful planning, assessment and evaluation of team members and their abilities, proper delegation of responsibilities, persistent and continued project management, setting up an environment for open and concise communication, implementing tools for motivation, setting goals, and most of all, following through to the completion of task and assignment.

I stand on the primary principle that, whether one creates a piece of art for their own pleasure or participates in a team effort to create a business enterprise for millions to use, the process they employ to start and complete the task is the same, through recognition of form, understanding of functionality, and the desire to enjoy and utilize the results of the effort.
