Tom MacDonald is a third-year Master of Landscape Architecture student at the University of Pennsylvania. He is interested in exploring how life and society can be enriched through the design of public space, and is also considering ways to address the pressing issues of our times such as climate change, sea level rise, and ecological rehabilitation. Tom's other interests include photography, drawing, painting, and at the moment he is specifically working to improve his understanding of informal settlement systems.
