As a researcher, Dr. Vidic serves as the medical director of Indiana Medical Research, LLC.
Dr. Vidic's role at Indiana Medical Research is primarily to lead investigative research studies commissioned by leading pharmaceutical companies and research universities. Indiana Medical was founded in 1994 as an affiliate of Elkhart Clinic.
As a physician at the clinic, Dr. Vidic specializes in the evaluation and treatment of neurological conditions in both adults and children. Having received wide recognition from his peers, Dr. Thomas Vidic was elected as the president of the Indiana State Medical Association, an 8,300-member organization. Dr. Vidic belongs to several American Academy of Neurology committees and previously served as the Indiana Neurological Society's president. A key influencer in shaping medical policy in the state, Dr. Vidic served as Vice Speaker, and later Speaker, of the House of Delegates of the Indiana State Medical Association. He also serves on the Education Council of his alma mater, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Recently re-entering the world of academia as an instructor, Dr. Thomas Vidic received an appointment at Indiana University as a Clinical Associate Professor in Neurology.
