I have learned in college that one’s work ethic can have a more tremendous impact on one’s grade than natural smarts. In acknowledging this I have made math and engineering my responsibility and personality. Everyone has that thing that they nestle their mind into to feel like a productive human being.

I wasn’t the most well rounded person growing up with an issue stuttering. I often found myself thinking less of myself. However, school was my chance to prove to myself that I could amount to the same level of success as my peers. As I have progressed through school I have noticed that my personality is a strong switch being between school and my social life.

I go nights without worrying about my school work and often spend days studying for my exams. Since I enjoy what I’m studying I’ve found that 6 hours will go by sitting at a desk and I won’t have even noticed. The interesting thing about always learning more is that eventually I will be at the point where I can say I have done something interesting with what I am learning. As a second-year engineering student I am yet to say I have found much of a life besides studying and being a part of Greek life. I say this because I believe I am still yet to find an interesting fact I am eager to share and I know that it will come eventually in relation to my studies.
