Thomas Sweeney

Thomas is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern. Prior to attending Stern, Thomas worked as a producer at CBS Interactive and as a strategy associate at CBS Local. He founded and for two years ran a digital content studio, Hideout Hill Entertainment, producing digital content for large organizations including Nike Sportswear, the Hearst Corporation, and the French government. Additionally, Thomas has produced two award-winning documentaries -- "The Last Survivor" (2010) and "Web" (2013) -- the latter recently premiered in 9 cities across the globe as part of Social Media Week.

Thomas is a Senior Fellow with InSITE, a competitive national program comprised of top graduate students interested in entrepreneurship, technology and venture finance. During his time with InSITE, he has advised multiple small business facing growth challenges, including Zola Books, Keen Home, and Brilliant Bicycles. Over the last year, he worked at Metamorphic Ventures, a New York City based fund that invests in digital media and digital commerce companies.

This summer, Thomas worked on the Business Development group at Creative Artists Agency, where he helped manage CAA Ventures -- an early-stage fund focused on investing in digital media and consumer retail businesses.
