Thomas Dave Olney

Thomas David Olney, the founder and principal of Dave Olney & Associates, LLC, utilizes his more than 30 years' experience in public relations, marketing, and business development as a Professional Consultant. Preceding his business career, he served in the United States Army as an Aviator and as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer. Promoted to Captain by the time he left the military, Dave Olney immediately used his Army experience as a Director of Administration at Bekins Van Lines Company for nearly six years. This was followed by his position in marketing and public affairs for Hughes Helicopters, Inc. Hughes was acquired by McDonnell Douglas nearly three years after Olney was originally hired, and he continued with them for almost 14 more years.

Over the course of his career with the aerospace manufacturer, Thomas David Olney held various positions that focused on the helicopter company's business development, public relations, and marketing. Olney leveraged this experience when he became a Site Development Manager for Intel Corporation. During his 12-plus years with Intel, Dave Olney successfully developed a favorable business environment in Arizona for the computer chip manufacturer's new facility construction. As well, he was a member of the company's Project XL Team that aided in establishing Intel as a corporate environmental program leader.

Prior to his military career, Dave Olney acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He added to this degree with post-graduate studies in Industrial Management, Marketing, and Business Administration at various universities during the early portion of his business career.

As the owner of Dave Olney & Associates, located in Chandler, Arizona, the consultant specializes in problem management, public involvement, and community outreach. Thomas David Olney has held the position of President in Arizona's Chandler Rotary Club and the Oakwood Lakes Community Association. Moreover, he is a past Executive Director of the OV-1 Mohawk Association.
