I'm the editor in chief of the Nation Network, and a features writer for Rogers Sportsnet.

As a freelance writer and reporter I've contributed to the Vancouver Province, The Vancouver Sun, The Sporting News, Vice Canada,, Yahoo! Sports' Puck Daddy blog,, Sportsnet Magazine and Dobber Hockey. I have covered games at the OHL, AHL and NHL level for a variety of outlets and have covered the NHL draft three times. I am a member of the Professional Hockey Writers Association (international chapter, 2014).

Prior to taking on a full-time role with the Nation Network, I was employed as a full-time NHL news editor with theScore where I specialized in mobile-first NHL news content.

I was theScore's lead hockey news editor covering men's and women's ice hockey during the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, and produced the highly lauded 'Unique Team Traits' series with Justin Bourne during the fall of 2014.

An expert in new media, sports media and hockey research; I have acted as a consultant on behalf of communications companies, public relations firms and insurance companies. I have extensive experience producing advertorial custom content for brands like Captain Morgan's, Universal Pictures, Werner Ladders, Panago Pizza, PlayNow and Frank's Red Hot.

In 2009, I graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.
