The former president and chief executive officer of Lancaster General Health, Thomas E. Beeman managed a 533-bed teaching hospital and a 59-bed rehabilitation hospital, among other facilities. Spending a decade in the roles, Thomas E. Beeman oversaw almost 1,000 physicians and 400 primary care providers.

In addition, he led the organization as it received multiple accolades. Alongside HealthGrades’ Distinguished Hospital Award, it was named one of the 100 Great Hospitals in America by Becker’s Hospital Review while under his guidance.

Following this, he joined Penn Medicine’s University of Pennsylvania Health System. Serving as the chief operating officer of regional operations, Thomas E. Beeman managed facilities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In the role, he launched a $750 million capital initiative for a five-year strategic plan that he developed.

Dr. Beeman is also a published author, having co-written several books. Most recently, he co-authored “Health Care Leadership Strategies,” which was released by Aspatore Books. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, he has a doctorate in leadership and policy.
