My name is Thomas Glenn and one of my most interesting facets is my adventurous attitude. Many people assume based on my appearance that I'm an antisocial shut-in, but in reality, I'm always down to meet people and try something new! I'm interested in aviation, spelunking, diving, and climbing. If the people around me are more inclined to ground-level activities I'm also down to hike a mountain or find some exotic foods to eat!

I've been to around 10 countries, most of which I'm eager to go back to once I can afford it. The picture showcased is from one such trip, it was taken in an underwater cave from when my older brother and I went off to Mexico. We make almost no plans ahead of time, instead allowing opportunities to reveal themselves, that way you never know what will come your way! Another standard rule of mine for traveling abroad is when given a menu, to always ask for either the server's favorite or pick the item you can not understand or hope to pronounce, as it helps expand your palette and get a feel for the more authentic foods.

Even just hanging around Athens and the states there is plenty to do aside from lazing around all day. While clubs and classes will keep me busy, on the off hours there are many recreational activities I have yet to partake in. Be it the pool hall or movie theater at Tate, the Ramsey rock walls, the local nature trails on campus, or anything I've yet to discover, I have no doubt that this will be an entertaining semester!
