Introduction
I am a student at the University of Northern Colorado studying marketing. My life and its purpose have been motivated by sports and sports marketing. Aspiring to one day run my own sports administration, I have worked tirelessly to gain experience and knowledge in public relations, communications, marketing, sports administration, and sports management.
Marketing Related Skills
Game Day Operations- As part of my duties as a Student Marketing Coordinator, I assist with the smooth operation of promotions both on and off the court. At men's basketball games, I even MC each on-court promotion enhancing the energetic atmosphere of the arena.
Communication - I have spent my time at the University of Northern Colorado perusing a minor in communication studies and have been a part of multiple team projects that lead me to develop important communication skills, both written and verbal. Additionally, my internships with both Triple Crown Sports and the athletic department at the university have given me a great foundation of communication skills.
Content Marketing - During the summer of 2015 at Triple Crown Sports, I was given several tasks directly related to content marketing. Part of my job was to constantly build content whether in the office or on the road.
Social Media Marketing - Both at Triple Crown and the UNC Athletic department I have been challenged with raising the presence of both institutions' social media engagement and following. Additionally, while earning my degree, I have learned invaluable skills in the classroom that have put me in the right path to accomplish such tasks.
Teamwork - As a Student Marketing Coordinator at UNCo, I work with a team each and every night striving to provide the best atmosphere for fans attending any sporting events here on campus.
