Thomas McFeeley

Billerica, Massachusetts

I am a sophomore finance and resource economics dual degree candidate with an information technology minor, seeking to better myself through hard work and determination. I will graduate from the Isenberg School of Management with 150 credits in May, 2017.

My colorful work history sets me apart from most other undergraduates. I have experience in everything from the food industry to the hospitality industry, from retail to cooperative business management. Currently, I am employed in the financial industry at State Street Corporation, where I am an Operations Processing Analyst. These employment opportunities have widened my scope of the business world and allowed me to experience many different fields. With each experience, I have become a better leader and team member, always seeking to improve business efficiency and innovation.

Through clubs on campus, I was able to narrow my focus to finance and resource economics. I participate in the finance society, investment club, and net impact chapter. These clubs, along with my involvement in internships, have inspired me to pursue a career in a finance-related field.

My primary goal for the next few years is to engage in internships that will progress my academic career, widen my knowledge in all areas of business, and allow me to further develop my leadership skills. I hope to continue to meet new people and expand my network through the remainder of my time at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
